Marsh Memorial Carillon and Tower
A Gift by President Emeritus Joseph F. Marsh, Jr.
The formal dedication and inaugural concert of the 48-bell Marsh Memorial Carillon, the first true carillon in West Virginia, was held on October 10, 1997. The total $725,000 cost of the carillon and tower was a private gift to the University by President Emeritus Joseph F. Marsh, Jr.
