Friends of the Athens High School Class of 1964 Social

No committees, no class officers, no clue. Several of us thought we should just get together. Classmates who had not seen each other for many years arranged an impromptu meeting at a Princeton restaurant in August 2011 while in town to attend the Athens – Concord Social. Although not well planned, we joked about it being the first rehearsal for the 50th Reunion for the classes of 1964 and 1965. With a little planning we thought we might arrange a real Pre-Fiftieth Reunion in 2012. After talking with many classmates by phone and email, we made arrangements for a social and dinner in the Great Room at the Nostalgia Inn on Highway 20 across from Pipestem State Park. Several of us met throughout the week before and we attended the Athens - Concord Social the following day.
