Summer 1959 Baseball Program
Athens Lions Club Makes Field Improvements and Sponsors Team
The Athens Lions Club sponsored a summer baseball program for local boys after building a backstop and making other improvements to the field behind Athens High School. The Lions also hired coaches to oversee the program.
