Quonset Huts
Additional Classroom Space for War Veterans
In 1947, two surplus quonset huts were donated by the Federal Works Agency to provide additional classroom space on campus for war veterans. One quonset hut was used as a band studio and instrumental music classroom, and the other was initially used as a classroom for the Business Department.
